Status Of Mother ---- In The Light Of Islam(Quraan And Hadith)

Quraan And Hadith:

1-"And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents-- his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years-- saying: Be grateful to Me and to both your parents; to Me is the eventual coming. And if they contend with you that you should associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them, and keep company with them in this world kindly…”(The Quran, 31:14-15)

2-"Heaven lies beneath the feet of mothers". (Prophet of Islam)

3-"And your Lord has commanded that you shall not serve any but Him and goodness to your parents."(The Quran, 17:23)

4-A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your father. (Bukhari, Muslim).

4- Abu Usaid Saidi said: We were once sitting with Rasulullah when a man from the tribe of Salmah came and said to him: O Messenger of Allah! do my parents have rights over me even after they have died? And Rasulullah said: Yes. You must pray to Allah to bless them with His Forgiveness and Mercy, fulfill the promises they made to anyone, and respect their relations and their friends (Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah).

5- Abdullah ibn Amr related that the Messenger of Allah said: The major sins are to believe that Allah has partners, to disobey one's parents, to commit murder, and to bear false witness (Bukhari, Muslim).

Conclusion:

Allah Has Given Us This Life, So we can live it up to best caliber. Without Prayers From Mothers, or without Respecting Mother, you cant Succeed even in this life and the life after it. So Be Kind To Your Mother And Help Her Live Amazingly, as She Helped You.
